The theme of this year’s World Accreditation Day, which will take place on 9th June 2019, focuses on how accreditation adds value to supply chains and procurement. The day has become an important fixture in the calendar to promote the value of accreditation, accredited conformity assessment and standards.

To support the day, UKAS is coordinating work with key industry and government stakeholders in a publication ‘Quality in the Supply Chain’.

Work is also underway to support the launch of IAF CertSearch, a website that will provide purchasers with the ability to verify management systems certificates

SSIP are pleased to be listed as a case study within the brochure (pg8) and confirms our support to small businesses by streamlining prequalification and reducing H&S assessment costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain.

SSIP will continue to work closely with UKAS to ensure we can support businesses to simplify the prequalification process.
