Mutual Recognition of Certificates via Deem to Satisfy (DtS)
SSIP operates a Deem to Satisfy (DtS) agreement for mutual (or non-mutual) recognition which is in place amongst all SSIP Members.
The SSIP Portal details the Assessment information for all valid assessments for the purpose of third party verification and all Registered Members agree to accept a current, valid approval completed by any other Registered Member subject to all correct details being displayed on the SSIP Portal.
The table below provides information on Deem to Satisfy cost savings (where applicable) and also the details of any further information requested by the Registered Member Scheme at the DtS Stage.

1 Applicants that approach Alcumus Safecontractor Scheme / Avetta Assessed / Achilles Building Confidence will not be required to complete any of the SSIP Core Criteria H&S Element again, however they will be asked to complete a set of Specific Risk Profile Related questions as part of their application.

CERTIFICATION BODY MEMBERS - ONE WAY DEEM TO SATISFY WITH ANY SSIP REGISTERED MEMBER Approval with a Certification Body Member can only be used to Deem to Satisfy with a Registered Member, (this is subject to confirmation of surveillance visits/compliance dates being displayed correctly on the SSIP Portal) it cannot be used to gain a Deem to Satisfy with another Certification Body Member.
