Mineral Products Qualification Council (MPQC) joined Safety Schemes in Procurement in September 2025 as a Supporter Member.

MPQC’s Supporter Membership makes them part of the SSIP forum showing they are dedicated to promoting, improving, and enhancing health and safety standards within the industry.

“MPQC (Mineral Products Qualifications Council) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving standards across the mineral products sector. It serves as a training, competency, and assessment body, working closely with industry partners to ensure individuals and organisations meet rigorous safety and operational standards.

We are looking to expand our MP Connect platform, where we host and verify individual training and competency records for drivers and on-site contractors, to include contract company assessment.  Contractors are integral to our industry, and their safety must be a priority; we are keen to align our processes with SSIP and play an active role as a Supporter Member.” – MPQC Representative
