BM TRADA, joined Safety Schemes in Procurement in October 2010 as a Certification Body member providing ISO 45001 certifications.  Initially, they were managed by Warringtonfire Testing & Certification Ltd and traded as BM Trada, and in 2024, they transferred to NQA Certification Ltd trading as BM Trada.

They provide assessments for the SSIP-certified categories as indicated, and holding a certificate with BM TRADA ensures a supplier benefits from one-way mutual recognition with all other SSIP-registered member schemes.

The certificate awarded confirms the supplier has been certificated under both ISO 45001 and the SSIP Sector Scheme with UKAS.

BM Trada’s SSIP Membership ceased in February 2026.  All SSIP Certificates completed by BM Trada will remain valid and on the SSIP Portal until their expiry date.
