Assessor Refresher Training
All SSIP assessors must complete the SSIP Refresher Assessor Training course every three years.
This requirement follows the initial 1-day SSIP Assessor Training Course to ensure that assessors stay current with their skills and knowledge.
Course Overview
This online e-Learning course serves as a refresher, reinforcing the skills and knowledge gained from the initial training and ongoing assessment experience. It is designed to be comprehensive yet efficient, suitable for all job roles involved in the SSIP assessment process.

The e-Learning course covers:
- SSIP Mission and Purpose: A review of the SSIP’s objectives and mission statement.
- Legal Framework: Overview of the main legal drivers for prequalification.
- CDM 2015 Regulations: In-depth review of dutyholders and SSIP categories.
- SSIP Membership Types: Different categories and their implications.
- Health & Safety Prequalification Assessment: Core processes and criteria.
- Mutual Recognition and SSIP Portal: Understanding the significance and ensuring data accuracy.
- Role Clarification: Differences between roles such as SSIP Assessor and Reviewer, and distinctions between Registered Member and Certification Body scheme providers.
- Core Criteria Interpretation: Detailed guidance on interpreting and applying SSIP’s core criteria.

Who Should Attend?
The course is applicable to all delegates, irrespective of their specific job roles within the SSIP framework, due to its focus on a broad understanding of the SSIP Core Criteria.
Important Note: Assessors must meet the minimum qualification levels as specified in the SSIP Rules & Bylaws [Appendix 16].
Completion of the SSIP Assessor Training and/or SSIP Refresher Training alone is not sufficient to demonstrate competence without the necessary supporting Health & Safety qualifications.
