SSIP Assessor Refresher Training
Online e-Learning course
£50 per delegate + VAT
It is mandatory that all SSIP assessors undertake the SSIP Refresher Assessor Training course within 3 years of the initial 1-day training course and on a three yearly basis thereafter.
This online course provides recall and reinforcement of skills gained from the 1-day SSIP Assessor Training Course and assessment experience to date.
The e-Learning course covers:
Review of the SSIP Mission Statement and SSIP purpose
The main legal drivers for prequalification
Review of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 Dutyholders / SSIP Categories
Types of SSIP Membership
The SSIP Health & Safety Prequalification Assessment
Understanding Mutual Recognition and the SSIP Portal including data accuracy
Role of the SSIP Assessor and Reviewer including differences between a Registered Member and Certification Body scheme provider
Interpretation of the SSIP Core Criteria

As this e-learning course covers an overview of SSIP and the assessment process it can be attended by all delegates irrespective of job-role enabling interpretation of the SSIP Core Criteria.
Please note: All Assessors working for SSIP Member Schemes are required to hold the Minimum Level of Qualifications as detailed in the SSIP Rules & Bylaws [Appendix 16] and completion of the SSIP Assessor Training and/or SSIP Refresher Training alone will not be sufficient to demonstrate competence without the required supporting Health & Safety qualifications.
